I just started playing with this pack and career and I'm experiencing the same issue. I repaired the game and so far that hasn't seemed to fix it. I've sent multiple images off for approval and mail does get delivered but when my Sim checks the mailbox I only get the message that she has collected all of the items in the mail... but there are no new items in my inventory (approved photos or otherwise).
No mods or cc, only the Digital Deluxe base game with Snowy Escape, Moschino, and Tiny Living packs installed. I'm playing on a Mac running OS X 10.15.6 if that is helpful. I did read somewhere that people found shooting the photos in landscape mode helped, but I haven't tried that yet (all the images I've submitted for approval have been portrait orientation). My results have been consistent though, submitting images for approval and receiving/retreiving mail in my mailbox daily but the mail doesn't ever show up anywhere, for multiple days and before/after restarting the game, moving the mailbox around, changing it's color, etc. I'm using the Snailmail Box from the Snowy Escape pack.
