Fresh Chef from Chef aspirations isn't working

I've completed the Master Chef aspiration and successfully unlocked the "Fresh Chef" feature. I tested it by cooking up some food, and yes they won't go spoiled. Then I picked the Renaissance aspirations. After I completed it, I switched back to the Chef aspiration, but now everytime I cook something it's still able to go spoiled. Bug, glitch, or what?

    It used to be bugged so it's possible that this particular scenario still is.

    Did you keep the trait while you played the Renaissance aspiration ? Did it spoil then too ?
