Game crashes on splash screen after recent update

So apparently there was an update recently for Sims 4? My sims 4 automatically updated, even though I don't have Seasons expansion nor Get Famous yet. Noticed now however, the game gets to the "EA" s...

here you go, I believe. And Sims 4 had no problems before the Auto-Update it did on opening Origin, so not too sure what that's about...

I am also aware it is during the holiday times so things may be slower than usual. 🙂

There are several crashes with the Sims. Your Graphics driver is a bit old so i recommend that you try to update that first. Also make sure that the game runs on the GeForce card not the built in Intel chip. If that doesn't help please post the contents of the lastcrash.txt file. You can not attach this file so copy the contents in between spoiler tags. (Yellow icon in compose window)
