Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 DLC shows as installed, won't load in-game

Hi there, i’ve owned and bought Sims 4 packs since roughly 2019 and continuing, i’ve got every expansion and game packs and most of the stuff packs and a few kits so i’ve given EA a lot of my hard earned money to enjoy this game, after updating to this new patch for the preorder of enchanted by nature that i bought, my game is now unable to recognize ANY of my add on content, NOTHING! I’m a bit frustrated and very very tired as i’ve been trying for 3 hours to fix this. I’ve repaired the game itself, i’ve cleared the EA app cache, I’ve even uninstalled the entire sims 4 and reinstalled with the add ons included and still it does not read that i have packs in game but everytime i click it says it is already installed and is showing installed on my EA APP, please help i’ve getting so frustrated that I even went thru my email and found every receipt for every EP, GP, SP and kit i’ve bought over the years to prove i’ve paid for all of this and just want to enjoy my game. I do play with mods and CC but it still is acting like this after removing my whole folder from the game so i’m just at a loss here and i’ve wasted so much time, and I dont have the funds to buy everything a second time, it took me two weeks to save up for Enchanted by nature and Life and Death, i would be heartbroken if that was the case i’d just never play again.

    This exact issue is happening to me. Any idea on how to fix this?

    Unfortunately none so far for me, I contacted EA support and their inly options were to 

    1. Clear the cache in EA app
    2. repair the sims 4 game itself
    3. and restart the pc

    none of this worked for me so i contacted again once my PC got back up and on, and another person said to try and delete the enchanted by nature pack and see if it fixed anything, but still nothing 😩.

    you could also try another option they gave me.

    1. Locate your Sims 4 folder in the Electronic arts folder in documents
    2. Rename that folder to The Sims 4_backup
    3. Go back into EA app and launch the game
    4. the EAT support told me to then make a sim and household and save and exit but idk if that affects it so you can try it too but it didn’t work for me, but if it does work you then do the next steps
    5. there should now be a The Sims 4 folder and a The Sims 4_backup Folder
    6. you can copy your saves from the Sims 4_backup to the new sims 4 folder and it should have your old saves

     I’m unsure for Mac but I’m on windows, and after all of that didn't work they just told me to make a new microsoft user account, redownload the ea app, and install the sims 4 and wait until they fix the issue on their end. I didn't end up doing that cuz i have no space for it so i’m unsure if that even works and I have no idea how long it’ll take for EA to fix whatever is causing this since it seems to have happened with packs in the past. I hope one of these solutions help you at least!
