Game keeps looping back to house selection screen

In general, whenever I try to load or resume the game, or even start a new one, selecting a house sends me back to the house selection screen again. I’m not sure what’s causing this, but the same issue also happens in my sister’s game. We considered that custom content might be responsible; however, we’re unsure, since we haven’t installed any gameplay mods. The only custom content I’ve downloaded recently is CAS content , and my sister hasn’t downloaded any custom content lately. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
