Game randomly freezes or closes
I have repaired the game and deleted all my mods. Since For Rent came out - I don't have the pack but the game updated - my game has been freezing up completely (had to restart my computer) or just closing. Happens both in live and build mode.
@fizzlefluffy Does this happen in a new save, or only your existing ones? Please test if you haven't already, to narrow things down.
If the new save is fine, please try playing other households and on other lots in your existing saves. You don't need to save your progress.
If the new save lags too, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.
If that save also freezes or crashes, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
