FairlyFairyXOXO Yes, the game runs on Linux... most of the time. Ask Steam Deck users. You can also ask them how often Sims 4 stops working because of an EA App update, and how much time it takes to fix the problem. EA doesn't officially support Linux at all.
I would never recommend someone switch to Linux just to run Sims 4 better. The trade-off of not having guaranteed support and compatibility just isn't worth it. If you were running Linux anyway, or had a handheld like the Deck, then sure, try it out. But that's different than switching over a dedicated Windows PC just to avoid some stutter.

I wasnt recommending anything really, just ranting at that point, no need to get cheeky ;p But I get your point, someone might have take it as a recommendation :) It is good that you cleared that up :) and thank you for answering my question :) Now I wonder if its possible to run it without the app on linux, but thats probably not something we can discuss here.
