Glimmerstone transferred to wrong inventory, toddler spellcaster glitch

I created a couple, the man a Spellcaster and the woman a regular sim. They had a child who was born a Spellcaster. When he became a toddler I noticed he had his own Glimmerstone in his inventory. After playing with the family for a while I've noticed that the Glimmerstone is missing and now in the mother's inventory! I can't transfer the Glimmerstone back over. 

Anyone else had this problem or is it a new glitch that can be fixed?

    Glimmerstone sometimes disappears from the sim inventory after traveling but moving to someone else's inventory has not yet been reported. At least I don't know anything about that. Fortunately, Glommerstone is easy to get back. Your sim should ask some sage for this stone. If the questioner has no stone, this option will appear on the sage.

    @yasmineandmiriam  If you have seasons installed, you can gift the Glimmerstone back to the child. If you do not have seasons, you will have to wait until the toddler becomes a teen and they can collect motes for the sages to get a new Glimmerstone.

    This issue has been reported before a couple times. It might be a good idea to open a bug report here https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/The-Sims-4-Bugs

    It is rare, but getting a report is the best way to find a fix.
