glitch when tabbing out of game

Whenever I open sims 4, it runs perfectly fine until I tab out of the game in windowed full screen mode. When I do this, it causes a huge pixelated glitch to appear on my screen.  I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled and repaired my game a few times because of this.  I do use mods but I have disabled them and moved them into a different folder before repairing my game. I've also cleared my cache file. In the picture is what happens if I hit my windows key.
