Household never loading up / slow loading screen

Hello! For the past two days I have tried everything to fix my game (50/50 method, troubleshooting, restarting my computer, cleaning out my computer, updating it, deleting cc) and nothing it working. I even ran an antivirus to see if it was any of my mods or cc was corrupting my computer, causing everything to be slower, but nothing malicious showed up. My game is extremely slower than usual, now taking 5-10 minutes to even load into the main screen, and even longer when I click on a household. I ran my game with no mods or no CC, it was still slow. When I clicked onto many households, they loaded in (slowly, but still loaded). And when I clicked into a specific household, it wouldn’t load it. It would do the loading in music, but never actually load in. It ran a BE exception if anybody would like to see what popped up, I can attach it if needed. Even my EA app is slower than usual while everything else on my computer is slightly normal speed. I want to try to save that specific household and upload it into my library to at least have a copy, but it won’t even let me in! 
 
I have tried everything I can think of, please help!

    For the past week or so, my game has taken 10+ minutes to load, from opening it up in EA to loading into a household. It used to take only 2 minutes. I’ve tried the 50/50 method to rule out any mods, and nothing. It was still slow without any mods or cc. I’ve repaired the game many times as well and nothing. And when it does finally load into the game, it’s extremely laggy.

    should I try to fix this now? Or should I wait for the November 4th update to see if it helped?

    Bro i am having the same issue. Mine is not even showing me any worlds…. I think maybe the next update might help us….. oh lord

    I know bro 💔💔 I managed to fix it by running a clear game with no mods or saves and it worked fine. But now the issue is that I can’t load into households with even a singular mod/cc folder in the mods folder😭. Hopefully the update helps us because I am NOT about to loose five years worth of a save files and sims

    Small update:

     

    I created a fresh game and started adding in my sims back into the new save, but the issue still stands. With the auto generated sim when I first opened CAS, it was SO smooth I was even shocked. But when I loaded in my household, it was back to laggy. So I’m thinking my sims are corrupted as well💔 my only solution is to start fresh and remake everything while seeing if a specific CC / mod make my game laggy. Bye bye to two years of a save

    Have had it happen to me a couple of times and I just got disgusted with it after that. Any saves I have started I just haven't invested as much time in until these issues are fixed. SO hoping this next update goes a long way towards that.

    Me too 💔 I’ve lost all hope for it too because I just checked the laundry day post for tomorrow’s update and it’s just bug fixes. What I’m seeing is that everybody is having the same issue so hopefully they address it soon.

    It certainly takes your the fun out of playing when any storyline you want to play out is constantly ruined. I had one sim I started a whole new save with, and just when I began the 100 baby challenge, the pregnancy bug occurred and I couldn't get her pregnant without cheating. I tried my best to do everything correctly with that save and every darn time they updated the game, something went south with my save and I would have to start over. 

    And I wish they would stop telling me it's my cc every time. Long loading times are not always caused by having CC in the game. Yes, CC is the cause of alot of problems, but I do know how to play the game vanilla and I do from time to time and still experience problems with saves (and long loading and bartenders, and sims wearing underwear when bathing and sims walking thru my San Myshuno apartments, etc.) So stop ghosting us!

    Oh no I’m so sorry to hear that! I know the 100 baby challenge is SUPER hard to do so that glitch must’ve been a bummer, took them awhile to update it too. I’ve been playing with my save file for three years now and it’s become unplayable. I even tried to recover an old version but nothing. But yes, it’s not always cc!! I’ve ran conflict checks with BetterExceptions and corrected everything. And everything is up to date too. The only thing showing up is some thing about milestones. I understand there’s a lot of people but EA can address it themselves! Hopefully it gets fixed soon
