how can i change the names of the sims in the game in sims4

As far as I am aware, you can only change a Sim's name in Sim creation mode, which you can get to either during Sim creation or by going to a mirror and selecting the option to change your appearance. 🙂

This only allows to change the names of the Sims in the active Household, to change your neighbors you'd have to switch Households.
