how to install off a cd

how do i play sims 4 on  a cd it has to have origin to install

  • @445piox0ovir  You can't install Sims 4 using a disc anymore.  In theory, you'd register the code that came with the disc and then download the game through the EA App.  In practice, the code might already be used.  But since Sims 4 is free to play now, you don't need one, you can just claim it within the EA App and download it from there.

If the disc is for a pack, you would still need to register the code in the EA App, and if you can't, then there's no way to use the content.

  • Riesauk  You couldn't run the game off the disc even if the EA App allowed it.  (Origin is dead now; the only reason you're seeing it is the discs came with their own copies.)  Installing the game means writing the data to your computer no matter the method.

I take it you mean your laptop doesn't have a lot of storage, since that's what matters here.  Memory has nothing to do with whether you can install the game, although it would impact performance.
