I can't download Sims4 at all, nothing happens when I click download

I got a new computer, and I am trying to download the Sims4 but for some reason it just won't download. I have been trying for days to download and it just won't. I have tried everything online to try and troubleshoot but nothing is working. I have tried task manager things and all. I don't even have the menu to look at the stuff that I am downloading so I don't know if that is the issue or what. Please help me, I am really starting to get upset by this. I just want to play the sims...
