I don't have a bin folder for the sims 4

I want to install reshades in my game but I don't seem to have a bin folder. I've looked for answers for months now and none of the solutions are helping me. I play on a windows laptop. I'll put in some screenshots.

@loverofthings  If you've installed the game through Steam, this will be the default location:

    Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 4\Game\Bin

I cant find anything named TS4_x64 (I think its bc I play from steam) and my game bin folder is missing

  • @Viomku  If you've installed Sims 4, you have TS4_x64.exe somewhere on your system.  The default location in a Steam install is this:

    Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 4\Game\Bin

    Hi @NyxtheCat1086,

Thanks so much for reaching out and sharing your issue! We noticed that this thread has been inactive for quite some time. With all the updates and patches the game has gone through, what you're experiencing now is likely quite different from what caused this back then.

We'd recommend joining an active discussion for the most current advice. If you can't spot one, please feel free to pop open a new thread so our amazing community of Simmers have a chance to respond and share the latest tips and solutions that worked for them, or pass on suggestions that may be helpful to try.

We'll close this thread out here in the meantime to help keep our forums fresh and focused.

    Thanks for your understanding,
