I'm currently unable to slot build/buy to counters

I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue. I was playing in my household and noticed that I wasn't able to add a coffee maker to the kitchen counter top. Took out all my mods and then started having a weird lag error I've never experienced before where the loading screen is still on with the Sim UI. So I tried to repair the game through EA app but it's still not working. Any and all assistance is appreciated!

    Moving this to PC tech. The picture you showed is a known issue, I believe with the graphics drivers. Make sure you updated them

    If you have further issues after that, could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

    Press Windows-Key + R
    - Type: DxDiag
    - Click on Save all Information.
    - Attach the Text File to your post

     

    Someone else will assist you fruther.

    So I was curious and tried what you suggested and turns out some how on my brand new computer the drivers were not enabled. Turned them on and found out they were outdated even as Windows is telling me that its up to date.

    Did you delete the localthumbcache file after removing your mods ?
