Guys... This worked for me... The mods don't have ANY problem...
I started a new game and renamed my saves folder to saves2. Started a new game and saved. Then I copied my save slots from saves2 to saves and then I ran the game and loaded my old save file and IT WORKED!!!!!!
Wanderlustpjd YESSSS!!!! So EA fed us the normal BS that didn't work... they always blame the MODs. I had tried everything... I had removed the mods, but I then discovered the game would load if I removed my saved games, WTF! I did ALL the crap EA said to do, I even moved my MODs and saves, uninstalled and reinstalled the game... same thing, it wouldn't load with my saved games in the file.
So I did exactly what you said... I removed them... started a game, saved it... then closed out... loaded my save files back in and yes!!!!! It worked!
EA, take note... it shouldn't take random people to figure out issues... if there is a known issue and an easy fix, it should come from you all!!!! Not the normal clear the cache, blink three times and say "there's no place like home"!
