so I accidently deleted my Electronic arts folder on my pc. I restored it from my recycling but now when I launch the sims my saves are gone
IMPORTANT to note I have the steam version of sims4 and I haven’t seen how people with the steam version have resolved this
it might have to do with the fact I have handful of mods too? I’m not sure
if there is no solution I’m fine with making a new story I just kinda miss my old saves

Pinappr Please make sure your saves are in the folder the game is currently reading, like this:

Please also make sure the saves are still named correctly, in format Slot_xxxxxxxx.save , with eight digits and no extra characters. The files with a .verx on the end are backups and can be recovered by removing the .verx and renumbering them, but the game won't read them as-is.
If you're not sure what you're looking at, feel free to post a screenshot of the contents of the saves folder so I can see the files' names and sizes.
And to be clear, did you move the folder to the recycle bin, then drag it back out again? Or did you permanently delete the data and then use a recovery tool to restore it? It sounds like you did the former, but I want to be sure.
