Community Managerkaroschmitz The point is that Memory Boost is very much in beta and could in theory corrupt your saves. So the game is keeping a backup, and you should too. That's not to say it WILL do any damage, only that it's not at the point where it can be unleashed on the general player base without protections in place.

Good to know, I'll be testing it only on a backup then.
Just wanted to double check if it is generally meant to be used on existing saves as well (with extra caution and right now just on a copy), or if the FAQs mean to exclude the use on existing saves and limit it to fresh new saves (even once it is fully tested), as the text of the FAQs sounded a bit like that?
