Even with a clean boot, my game still crashed.
I can try the whole process again in case I did it wrong, but my hopes for it working aren't very high.
What am I supposed to do if it continues not working?
@AaryBigDumb So that means you also clean-uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App? If that doesn't work, it's worth testing in a new admin Windows account. Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account. Your saves and other user content won't be available, but that's fine and can be addressed later.
A clean uninstall means using Revo right? If so then I did another clean uninstall and install and it seems to be working okay now. I just tested it the game made it all the way to thursday (it didn't crash, I closed the game myself) on 3x speed while other tests only made it to the middle of monday (crashing).
But in case it does start crashing again, how would I test using a new admin Windows account?
@AaryBigDumb The idea would be that you create a new local account, as described here:
and give it administrator rights. Then you'd play the game in that account, not your main one, to see whether it ran any better.
Tried this and even then it's still crashing. Would it be better to keep trying to solve the problem or just give up at this point?
