My sims 4 game takes forever to save and it wont show the sims character icon

When I want to save my sims 4 game it takes for ever and never ends up saving. I have tried everything like deleting stuff but it still doesn't work. Also when im playing on a household the characters icon will not show. Please help

    Hi @Tchissola

    are you using any custom content or mods in your game ? Like an UI Mod for example ? If so, makes sure you're using the latest version that's compatible with your patch level.
