My sims 4 isn't responding or opening.

Well, I Haven't been on sims 4 in a while because my wifi has been off for weeks, i try'd to play offline, but when i click on sims 4 with no wifi, it says ''updatetool not found'' something like that. So when i got my wifi on, origin started to update, and after that i clicked on sims 4 and it isn't loading. Everytime i open it it a bar with the sims 4 sybol just stays at the top of the top left corner stuck, And when i click on it, it says it isn't responding with the option of wait for it to respond or close it. Please help me, i have a tumblr for sims 4, i post cc finds, this is really important, please help!!

figured out my problem, it was due to some of my custom content, i deleted all of them, and it fix my game, if anyone has the same its probably your custom content.

Literally made an account for this but you helped me! I've been struggling for hours trying every option, taking out my CC and mods everything, and just bought cat and dogs! You've made my entire day 🙂

I be playing Sims 4 On Origin and working fine on window 10 but one day it jumping so Origin ask me updae or won't be able play game so Update but now havn't playing sims 4 from Jan 16th Now won't load or reopen . I found sims 4 very enjoyable (But not today as havn't work)

@Yixcit Ik this is like 6 years later lol. But this is for anyone who may have the same problem now. I’ve been looking for a solution for so long, I was dreading do the 50/50 which actually turned out to be pretty quick and easy. My issue was I accidentally downloaded a Sims 3 cc folder which prevented my game from wanting to open.
Hope this helps someone.
