My sims can’t cook

Question

My sims can’t cook. They take the ingredients out of the refrigerator, but immediately say that they can’t walk, so they put the food on the ground or throw it in the trash.

i don’t know what to do, I have change the kitchen and everything, I just download the game the other day, I don’t have any mods or cc. ☹️

In addition to what&nbsp;@KC_Tipin&nbsp;wrote you also need at least one kitchen counter with nothing on it.

This may happen if there is no walking room for the sim to get to the cooking station.&nbsp; check to see if you have any room in front of the station, make sure no furniture is blocking the path way.&nbsp; Can you take a screen shot of the layout to show your kitchen?
