my sims won’t listen to me when i tell them to do something help!

I’ll click on them to do something but it will delete straight away, not all the time, but most. I do have mods and cc but i don’t want to get rid of them, is there a way to fix this without removing my cc from my sims characters? or atleast making sure im able to save the way they are now with cc.
