New Update = Literally everything in my game glitching

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to work, get famous, vintage glamour stuff, the laundry pack, pets, and all of the free ones.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I honestly don't know. I just opened my game and went to CAS.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't see any clothing, my Sims hair keeps randomly changing colors, icons are switched with other icons, cannot see *some* items on CAS, textures are sometimes switched.
What do you expect to see? I can't tell if the icons are the real icons or switched with others, would like to see the real ones. I can't see any clothing, would like to be able to see that.

I've been playing The Sims for years and years. It's hard to get bored with this game because of the fact that every Sim can have different traits, different looks, different houses, different lives. I can play The Sims for hours on end.. until the latest update. After it quickly installed, I opened my game and it was completely normal. I entered my save that I have been playing on for soooo long (without any problems ever happening) and started playing. After I started playing I realized that for some reason my Sim, that was naturally a blonde, had bright red hair. I quickly went into CAS to change it. When I entered CAS, most of the icons that I knew from memory was switched with either a random color, a different icon from the game, or with it just not being there. A lot of the icons were like this. For example, the icon for changing the weight of your Sim lower, from what I remember, was a human body with arrows pointing inwards towards the waist area. Now, it's just a weird rainbow glitchy looking box. Another example is that the "randomize name" icon was switched with the "hot weather" icon and changes every time I join the game. There are A LOT more examples of this but it's way too much to list. Another weird thing that's happening is that every single piece of clothing that The Sims 4 already has in-game (basically everything but my CC) doesn't show up in the "preview box." Now, it's just blank so I don't know what piece of clothing I'm picking. It does show up on my Sim though.
I have a lot of CC, as most people do. I first assumed that this was the problem. I took my CC folder out of The Sims 4 folder just to see if it would work without the CC. When I joined the game it was the complete same to my surprise. I delete any glitchy pieces of clothing that I download because I fear of it messing up my game, so the possibility of it being CC was probably low. I called my dad, who works with computers, and he said that there should be an option to reinstall the game - and that if there is, I should do it. I took all of my save folders and CC folders out and then reinstalled Origin and The Sims. When I went back in the game (without any of my folders) it was still glitched out, badly.
I really love the Sims 4 and basically, play it every day... but if the game is going to be like this forever then I'll probably stop playing it because it's extremely frustrating playing with this glitch. It might not be a big deal to most people, but mostly what I do in The Sims is in CAS (because I dress up my Sims and post it on Tumblr and stuff)... but it's basically impossible to do anything without it being easy and me not getting frustrated. Please, help me fix this weird glitch.
