LucyLovesMarvel The lastcrash files aren't generally useful, or even decipherable, to anyone outside of Maxis. I'd rather have the Reliability Monitor info I mentioned before. But I'd also like to know whether the problem is currently happening with a new save too, or just your old one; and whether it happens every time, or just sometimes. I'm not sure from your description what exactly is going on.
As for the game not responding before you even get to load a save, make sure you restart your computer each time you exit the game, or it crashes, before trying to play again. Sometimes not doing so causes its own issues, which can complicate troubleshooting.
Ahh okay sorry, I was confused. I didnt know about restarting my computer before each play, I'll start doing that for sure.
I noticed that the issue dose not occur with the new save file. The issue that is occuring with my old one is that it will do the not responding thing when I close the game (it was when I open but now that's not happening)
This issue only occurs sometimes and I dont know why.
I was having another issue where my game would close randomly when playing this save but that might be a whole other issue.
I did the reliability thing and nothing came up.
cut and paste your whole sims 4 folder somewhere safe on the same storage drive. thats what im doing while figuring out why my game suddenly wont start. tried to uninstall and it only uninstalled half the game >.>
