One Sim with Two Spouses. Please Help.

Marriage Bug:

So my Sim got married to another Sim and they live on separate lots.  When I hover over one of them it says they're married to another person.  In the relationships menu it says they're married to another person.  To put things more simply I'll make a little chart.

Sim 1 and Sim 2 are married

In Sim 1's relationship menu it says Sim 2 is their spouse

In Sim 2's relationship menu it says their spouse is another person (Sim 3)

Essentially it's one sim with two spouses.

Please help.

    Try the following

    1. Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
    2. type testingcheats true
    3. Shift-click on the Sim and choose the menu Marriage

    There you should be able to clear the unwanted one.

    The bug behind this should be fixed but it doesn't fix already bugged Sims.
