sppnz Joelbrei This is typically due to an overactive antivirus, so try setting an exception in yours for EADesktop.exe. Set exceptions for TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_x64, and TS4_Launcher_x64 as well; or the entire Bin folder they're in.
If this doesn't help, disable the antivirus, temporarily, and try to repair again.
paqem Switching to DirectX 9 doesn't fix repair issues, and it also shouldn't be necessary on systems that can run the DirectX 11 version of Sims 4.
