Rjmontez Sorry for the late reply. Are you testing the same builds as before? There are many builds in the Gallery that are broken enough to cause freezing or crashing, so it would be best to try playing on a default EA-made lot. If that works, but you want to download something, try a build that isn't too complicated (lots of objects are a source of problems too) and that was uploaded in the last couple of months, as most broken builds are older.
Test with sims you make yourself as well. You don't need to spend much time on them.
Separately, your dxdiag lists a number of BlueScreens and no other errors, which is probably because the BSODs crowded out everything else. Are you getting these while playing, or is your whole laptop shutting down while you play? The game itself should never cause the computer to shut down, and while this issue should definitely be addressed overall, I'd like to know whether the BlueScreens are game-related.
And are you saying that you tried updating the Nvidia graphics driver, or something else?

I wanted to clarify and update a few things based on your message:
NVIDIA Driver Update:
Yes, I did update my NVIDIA graphics driver manually after seeing it recommended on EA forums. Several users mentioned it helped reduce freezing, so I gave it a try. In my case, it slightly improved load times, but the game is still laggy with delayed response to tasks. Sims sometimes freeze mid-action or glitch into a T-pose (arms outward like they’re in CAS). So unfortunately, the driver update didn’t resolve the issues for me.
Lots & Mods:
I stopped placing large or complex Gallery lots because they were consistently causing crashes. I’ve since been playing only with smaller lots and recently added back a few of my updated mods and very minimal CC — but honestly, the game runs the same whether I have mods/CC installed or not. The lag, freezing, and crashes persist.
Crashes & Screens:
To clarify, I have not experienced a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). I do sometimes get a black screen — nothing displays and I can’t exit the game. In those cases, I have to manually force shutdown my PC. While the game crashes or freezes often, my laptop doesn’t shut itself down on its own. A few times the game froze so badly it caused my whole system to freeze, and I had to force restart the laptop — but I wouldn’t say the game directly shuts down my computer.
Game Repairs & Reinstall:
I’ve repaired the game twice and also fully uninstalled and reinstalled it. I started fresh with no mods or CC in a new save, and the crashing still occurred. That’s part of why I’m convinced there’s a deeper issue — possibly a bug or something tied to how the game handles lots or memory.
I’m happy to continue testing and providing logs if needed, but wanted to be clear about what I’m seeing. It’s been several months of troubleshooting and the issue hasn’t improved. Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for taking the time to help.
