Persistent Freezing and Crashing in Sims 4 - No Mods or CC

Also, something strange happened during gameplay My Sims went to work and disappeared, but they never returned home. Their Sim portrait remained highlighted as if they were still at work, but nothing progressed I couldn’t interact with them at all. That happened multiple times, so there’s something going on there too. One quick question? Should I remove all mods and CC again while testing this updated driver, or does it not make much difference since the game has crashed even without them before.
