created a completely new save - same results.
I also did this: when sim was going to active career I followed her, and then I was able to switch back to household members. But above the icon of the career sim an exclamation mark kept popping and when she returned home all her needs were yellow and close to red, like she was standing on the same spot where I left her till the work-day ended.
The red exclamation mark has always been there when you switch to the a Sim at home from am active career.
I'm now confused.
What can't you do ? Switch back to the career ?
And you could before ?
Pretty sure that was never an option cause send alone works the same way non-active careers do.
As far as I remember I could switch between sims, although now that you've mentioned it, I can't tell for sure if I did that with "join sim" or with "send alone" ^^'
