Re: City Living / Apartment Infestation (Roaches)

I have the same problem. I read on the internet that the roach spawner is not accessible to the sims and that is why they cannot do anything. I tries the guide and the spawner must be in the apartment under mine which I do not have access to so I do not have access to the spawner.

I am willing to share my saved game if you would like because the issue is only with TLC apartment in the Culpepper Apartments. I have not lived in any of the other TLC apartments to know if the issue is persistent in them as well.

    Update: I have created a new save (I still have my old game if needed) and in the new game I moved into the same apartment and waited until the roaches spawned. I was able to "eradicate" them successfully so it was old game that had the issue.

    (Sorry for the delayed response)

    So it turns out that this is by design if the door to the apartment is locked.  If the door to the apartment is locked, the landlord will not enter unless you unlock the door.
