Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 DLC shows as installed, won't load in-game

I only own packs from the EA App. I bought them all on Origin, except for GT.

  • @bcners  Then you can simply delete the CAS Demo, which is here:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common

Restart your computer, then try again to download your packs.  If some of them still don't download, please run new searches for those packs' folders just like you did previously.

It wont let me delete it..

  • @bcners  Restart your computer and try again.  If that doesn't work, see if you can uninstall it through Steam.

If that doesn't work either, are you currently signed into an admin account?  If not, please ask whoever has access to the computer's admin account to delete the folder for you.

  • Hi. I was having the same issue but I figured out the solution combining some of the provided steps.

    1. Clear the EA app cache (this will allow the packs to be re-downloaded)

    2. Go to manage add-ons (you will see that the packs are now able to be downloaded)

    3. Begin downloading previously purchased packs and kits

    4. Once complete, launch the game and enjoy.
