Re: Game stuck in loops/freezing after Dream Home Decorator install

@astartegirl  Did you recently reset your laptop, or install a new build of Windows?  I ask because there are conspicuously few error reports in your dxdiag, and these would normally only get erased with a new Windows version or a clean wipe.  But a cleaner app could remove them as well, so please let me know if you use one, and disable it for now.  Those error reports can be very helpful when troubleshooting a technical issue.

For the problem itself, try forcing the game to run in DirectX 11 mode.  Open your EA App game library, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx11 to the command line box.

If that doesn't help, please let me know whether you still get a freeze or crash if you play with your computer offline.  You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
