@puzzlezaddict They told me that the AA option isn't available for me. Supposedly TS4 itself keeps replacing AA with edge smoothing & disabling or enabling edge smoothing didn't change a thing. This is what the support told me word for word "After launching The Sims game, we discovered that the anti-aliasing option is referred to as "edge smoothing". Despite disabling it, we were unable to locate a global setting for anti-aliasing". They are supposed to do another support session on Wednesday so i guess i'll see if anything else can be done.
@SweetVirgo23 It sounds like the support rep didn't understand what you were asking. For the next session, please make sure that the rep knows that you want an anti-aliasing setting within the Intel Arc Control software, not within Sims 4. In case they argue with you, you can point out that the Nvidia Control Panel, which is the equivalent for Nvidia GPUs, has four anti-aliasing settings that can be applied either globally or to a particular game. That's what you want, not help changing your Sims 4 in-game settings. I know you know; I'm saying this support rep clearly did not.

@puzzlezaddict They got back to me (which took longer than I thought) they told me " It is recommended that you check with EA Games support to confirm if the game supports Intel® XeSS (Xe Super Sampling) and Anti-Aliasing". I probably might ask then look into things further & i think I might contact HP support since intel support wasn't very helpful. TS4 has been working fine before, I didn't update anything on the pc either when I started experiencing this issue, so i am kind of skeptical of the Intel supports answer to my question about needing to contact EA games to help me instead.

@SweetVirgo23 That's definitely not helpful. For the record, Sims 4 does support anti-aliasing (edge smoothing) but not XeSS. And the whole point is not whether the game can do anti-aliasing, it's that the driver control software should be able to do it too, like the Nvidia and AMD control panels have been for a very long time. Intel support appears to be ignoring this point entirely.
At any rate, it sounds like you've gone as far as you can with this problem, unfortunately. The only thing left to do is wait for an update to fix this, whether it comes from Sims 4 or Intel.

@puzzlezaddict Ok thanks! I also have a quick question which is kinda unrelated to graphics but I tried contacting EA support but no luck there. I am trying to do a repair for the Sims 4 in the EA app & it keeps telling me the following packs "holiday celebration pack", "Vintage glamour", & "Everyday clutter kit" failed to download / repair. I uninstalled & reinstalled the app & run it as administrator but it didn't work, every time I try clearing the cache it says "app crashed unexpectedly" what can I do to fix this & the repair installation issues? I just want to repair my game but can't because it keeps getting stuck at 14 % for those three packs, I wait a few minutes & then press resume to try again but it keeps giving me a error code, trying to clear the cache for the ea app tells me that " it crashed unexpectedly".

@SweetVirgo23 That's a current issue with the EA App:

@puzzlezaddict It repairs every single pack I have except for those three. This app always has some issue but this one really annoys me. I guess I'll wait till they fix the issue, Thanks!
