Re: I reinstalled the sims, chose Norwegian but it shows in English

Hi.

I got the EA app around fall, when Origin was saying good bye. And everything went fine downloading it. I usually play The Sims 4. I've played up until now, because I had to reset/wipe my computer. So after downloading the EA app again to install Sims 4 again, my game runs in English. I used Norwegian because that is my language. But there is no way to change it back to Norwegian. I have tried everything, search everywhere. I only find Origin "how to change language". And that option is gone now. But what I find weird is that Sims 4 supports Norwegian among many other languages. And when I first got the EA app I had the Sims 4 in Norwegian. How come there is no option to change it back? I have even tried to change it in the files, with no luck! I am so frustrated and many others seems to be the same. Please help me, I just wanna play Sims 4 in my language again. All online information I find is how to change in Origin, which again I no longer am able to.

    @Lyail  Are you in fact able to reinstall Origin?  If so, and if it runs, you can change the language there and then go back to the EA App.  You can find a download link here:

    There's no need to uninstall the EA App; just don't try to run both apps at the same time.

    If you can't use Origin, then the only fix here is to uninstall Sims 4 and reinstall it in Norwegian, hoping that it works this time.  This issue usually seems to occur when the App is running in English, so normally I'd suggest you switch the App to Norwegian first, but I don't actually know whether it has a Norwegian localization.
