Nope, I haven't the problem. No, it doesn't matter that you're playing it on Mac. 😉

By using your Time Machine, you can make always a Hourly, Daily or Weekly backup. I safe via AirPort Time Capsule, also I have manually backup of all the saved games (Sims4) on a separate USB flash drive. It would be worth if you activated your Time Machine. If that happens, you can always do a restoring specific files & folders.. 🙂
