sounds more like a messed up update than a bug.
Have you tried repairing the game through Origin yet ?

Sorry, I actually had no idea there was a distinction between those two things and didn't know repairing was an option.
But I have repaired it now and then used some of your instructions from other threads to resolve some other issues that the repair caused and now it is all back to normal. Thank you so much!

If something is missing that was there before, it's always good to do a repair as troubleshooting.

- @DawnKC3 Has it worked? Repairing through Origin? I contacted EA and the man was still asking me the same questions 31 minutes into the conversation, absolute *. I don't hold out much hope ☹️
- @catherineb485 haven't seen a person where it hasn't helped.
