Re: My Sims 4 Is Running slow, And even without mods and cc
@ChillNana Please remove your entire Sims 4 game folder from Documents\Electronic Arts; you can just place it on your desktop. Start a new save and see whether the game runs normally again. If it does, the issue is something in your old game folder. You can test your mods and cc by moving it to the new game folder in batches. Any batch that causes issues needs to be split and tested again until you've found the problem file(s). While testing, be sure to delete localthumbcache.package, also in your game folder, every time you quit.
Here's a list of everything you'll find in your game folder, including explanations of what you might want to keep:

Once you have your other files sorted out, you can move the Saves and Tray folders to your new game folder, and the rest of your content will be back in your game.
If TS4 still runs slowly even in a new game folder with nothing in it, please run a dxdiag and attach the results to a post.
