- @puzzlezaddict as I was playing the save. Just during normal gameplay like it did before. I can't go to other sims or anything and if I try to pause the players just freeze or on a loop like the one was rocking and it just kept rocking
@luvcooper03 How much RAM is Sims 4 using, and how much is your computer using overall, when you're playing this save? Please load the save, let the game clock run for a few sim-minutes, then put Sims 4 in windowed mode (but don't minimize it). Open the Task Manager, make sure it's in detailed mode and showing the Processes tab, and take a screenshot. Please post that here.
hope this is what you meant
@luvcooper03 That's exactly what I wanted, and it looks fine. If the game is freezing and yet your computer's memory use isn't maxed out or close to it (over 95% rather than the current 64%), then that is pretty clearly not the issue.
I think from your description that you went back to playing an existing save, which was fine for some time and then went back to freezing, but please let me know if that's incorrect. Either way, I'd like to know what world this save is in and what happened just before the game started freezing. For example, did your sims move houses or go on vacation, did you add back some mods or custom content, etc.? Please also let me know if a new save is affected—I know it wasn't before, but I want to be thorough so I don't waste your time testing the wrong potential issues. And I'd like a new dxdiag as well.
