Re: Sims 4 randomly crashing
@Sophiebubblesxx Is your problem resolved? I've got a brand new computer that will run this game easily. Ever since the last patch - Sep 3rd my game has been crashing. No warning, nothing, just one se...
@Lisfyre The Sims 4 crashes in your dxdiag are all access violations, meaning the game tried to access memory in a manner that wasn't allowed. So the first thing to try is to repair the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair. If you get another crash, clear Origin's cache:

restart your computer, and repair again.
If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user data folder. Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to the folder; just start a new save and see whether the game still crashes. Let me know either way. And if you do get a crash, please also let me know what was happening in-game at the time.
I have done all these things and still my game will crash. It is getting really regular too. I did not have it happen until i repaired my game.
@mariepeek26 There are a lot of reasons Sims 4 might crash. Is there a pattern to the crashing, either in-game or outside of it? For example, some people report crashes when their sims travel. If you have a lastcrash.txt in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4, please either copy and paste it into a reply (use a spoiler tag) or create a .rar file and attach it to a post.
Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
