sims not working or opening properly

So the other day i opened sims and it said not responding on a blank screen so i looked on here and it said to delete the options so i did it and it worked my game worked fine for 2 days. then yester...

    @jpkarlsen Okay update i managed to get the game open it took forever it is now no longer trapped in full screen thanks for your help

Okay, i did that it did nothing do you have any other ideas?

@katiecar1 okay wait so i was waiting for ages but it eventually opened like at least 10 mins and it went to a black screen and then went to the sims 4 screen and i accidentally reset before i could see anything else but it was still stuck in full screen to.
