@ShelleAmanda Tested this on my save (Vampires though) and the moodlet went away for me as it should have.

Does the same thing happen for you if you test on a different family (test on a copy of your save) ?

Unfortunately, I only know of a mod to get rid of stuck moodlets as the cheats to remove them have been disabled. You can remove the mod after you've done it though. Google TwistedMexi AllCheats if you want to try that route anyways

    @crinrict  It first happened to my original family the other day but on the father, but repairing the game fixed the problem. The new family I'm playing is the son of my original family and his father died while the now toddler was a baby. 

    I will try the mod tonight when I get home from work and see if it fixes the problem.

    It's funny having to rely on mods to fix a problem when we ar advised not to use mods as they can cause problems. Lol.

    @ShelleAmanda You still need to use a cheat. The mod will only activate the cheat again (remove the sad buff specifically or all of them)

    @crinrict I am fine with using cheats. Use them all the time. I'm not a huge fan of Mods. However, it did fix my problem so I am thankful for that.
