Re: The Sims 4 screen flickering

@dlgowjd05  Please force Windows to use the Nvidia graphics card for Sims 4.  Hit Windows key-i, select System > Display > Graphics settings, click Browse, select TS4_x64.exe, and choose the high-performance option.  Restart your computer and test.

If you still get flickering, repeat the process, except this time, choose the power-saving option, i.e. the integrated Intel graphics chip.  Let me know whether this makes any difference.

@dlgowjd05  I'm glad that helped, but that means the problem is with the Nvidia GPU.  Is this laptop under warranty?  If so, I would strongly suggest using that warranty, probably to get a different laptop.  This is supposed to be a gaming system, and it's not really if you can't use the dedicated graphics card for gaming.  If you do pursue this, state that you get flickering and graphics anomalies when gaming on the Nvidia GPU but not when you force the same game to use the Intel iGPU.  That should be sufficient.
