@Lwynd To add your graphics chip to the database, you'll need to edit graphicscards.sgr, which is located in Sims 4's program files. Unless you changed the default install location in Origin, the file will be here:
Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
Open graphicscards.sgr (Notepad works fine), and crtl-F to search for 10de. This will take you to these lines:
vendor "NVIDIA" 0x10b4 0x12d2 0x10de
card 0x1e04 "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (Turing)" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHigh
card 0x1e07 "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (Turing)" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHighCreate a new line underneath the one with Nvidia, and paste this:
card 0x1fb8 "NVIDIA Quadro T2000" $cardLevelUber $resolutionHigh
Save, quit, launch the game to the Main Menu, quit, and then see whether your card is now recognized. If it is, you should see a [Found: 1, Supported: 1] value in config.log (about 30 lines down); you can find the config file in the Sims 4 user data folder in Documents\Electronic Arts.
