@Jodie1250 The most important detail is that the panel itself is IPS, the highest quality in terms of colors and viewing angles. After that, I'd look for a screen with a 2560x1440 resolution because everything will look more crisp and clear (as long as you tell Sims 4 to run at that resolution too). A peak brightness of at least 300 nits is important too—250 is fine in a darkened room but can feel a bit dim or washed out under lights or even with daylight coming through the windows.
If you'd like, I can look for good options for you. Just let me know whether there are any other details that matter. If you'd prefer to do your own shopping, don't worry too much about the brand—as long as it's one you've heard of, it's likely fine. And you can link anything you find here for a second opinion as well.
@puzzlezaddict Thank you so much! You have been so helpful. Do you mind having a look for me and recommending some? I don’t have any requirements so I’ll go with your recommendation. Thanks again

@Jodie1250 All of these fit the bill (the first two are the same unit), with a 100 Hz refresh rate:

These have a higher refresh rate, at least 165 Hz:

The last one is an ultrawide monitor, as in, it has a 21:9 aspect ratio rather than the standard 16:9. So you get extra pixels lengthwise without sacrificing any vertical resolution. AOC makes panels for other better-known manufacturers and some of its own, so its monitors are good quality overall too. If you want to compare brightness among the models, the units are nits or candelas or cd/m^2, all of which are the same.
All of these monitors are equally compatible with whatever computer you buy, and they should all perform up to their specs. So pick one you like for whatever reasons matter to you. Or if you decide you don't like any of them, let me know why so I can do a more targeted search.
