Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 saves/user content disappearing (PC)

Yesterday I loaded Sims and my saves were just gone? I played the day before that and had no issues. It said "unrecognized video card" at first and my laptop needed an update so I thought that was the reason but I updated it and it was still not working. It also said I have no cc and mods. I have all my mods, saves and tray in my EA folder in Documents so I don't understand why they aren't showing in game. I tried deleting localthumbcache, repairing, reinstalling but nothing works.

    this has happened to me too. i have tried moving it from my one drive because apparently sims 4 doesn’t always recognise the files, but nothing is working. i’m close to giving up

    For OneDrive, a lesson I recently learned, On OneDrive settings, Pause the program, then find the game folder, right click (PC), select *keep on this device . It is supposed to keep OneDrive from syncing these files, but I'm not seeing consistency.
