Screen glitch after 9/18 update
I updated the sims 4 for the game update that came out on September 18, the screen looks has a gray shadow/halo and looks glitchy. The game is playable (as in I can enter a household, CAS, and move around the worlds), but I can not see the screen clearly. I have removed all of my mods and CC, repaired the game, uninstalled all DLC, uninstalled and them reinstalled the game, added DX11 and yet the problem is still happening. I don't know what else to do and what could be causing this.
@CocoLennox Please update your graphics driver, which is from 2018. You can get the newest driver from AMD:
Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.
If that doesn't help, please remove any files in ConfigOverride, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.
If that doesn't help either, please try switching to DirectX 9 or 11 mode, whichever you're not currently using. Here's how:
