Placing items is one of the most basic features of the game. To not have the ablity to place items means at least half the game is useless. All my drivers are up to date. I have unistalled and reinstalled still not fixed. Screen goes black when tring to place items. I can place walls and rooms but not items. Maybe I will have to wait for a DLC to fix this? Twenty dollars for the fix.....😕mileymad:
Same, have uninstalled and reinstalled both Origins and Sims 4. Game plays fine till I go to buid buy then goes black. I have a new gaming computor that is high end. This is frustrating and I am very close to returning it tomorrow. Looked so fprward to this now I am frustrated and just plain disapointed.
This is exactly what happens to me. I have tried to get in contact with everyone about it. EA support is trying to blame it on my laptop's performance. OriginInsider tweeted me back once, but then I never heard from them after that. I actually even showed them this link. It is such a damn shame. I wasted $75.00 on a piece of **bleep** that cannot even do one of the most basic features. Thinking of possibly refunding.
