Sims 4 black screen when selecting anything in build/buy

Everytime I select anything in build/buy the screen goes black. If I tab to the desktop and then back the screen will be back but anytime I click anything including options or switching to live mode ...

Hi guys,

Can some of you with this issue post what Graphics unit your computer is using?  Want to see if there is a brand/type/model in common or not.

    GeForce GT 740M

    Just curious did everyone else who is having this problem also preload the game?

      I got a hard copy and installed from CD

        Me too, I bought the CD copy from EB Games. I am so fed up I just want to return the damn thing!

      I did preload the game. And then reinstalled the game, after it was unlocked (in attempt to get it to actually run)
