@gonnabemeg Can you load a different household in the same neighborhood? If so, try playing that house for a few sim-hours, then use "save as" to rename the save, quit, reload, and see whether you can get into your main household.
If that doesn't work, try recovering a backup version of your existing save (not the new save created by "save as," the current one). Here's how:
